RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. QUALITY - MANAGE RESOURCES TO ENSURE THAT ALL PRODUCTS ARE PRODUCED TO SPECIFICATIONS AND THAT ALL INTERNAL PROGRAMS AND TARGETS ARE ACHIEVED.
  2. SAFETY - INSTITUTE WORK PRACTICES TO MAINTAIN A SAFE PRODUCTION ENVIRONMENT THAT COMPLIES WITH ALL FEDERAL, STATE, LOCAL AND CORPORATE REGULATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS.
  3. PRODUCTIVITY - MANAGE PERSONNEL, MATERIAL, PLANT AND EQUIPMENT, AND OTHER ASSETS TO DRIVE TOWARD LOWEST IMAGINABLE MANUFACTURING COST, MEET FINANCIAL OBJECTIVES, AND CONTINUOUSLY IMPROVE PRODUCTIVITY.
  4. PRODUCTION - EFFECTIVELY UTILIZE MANUFACTURING RESOURCES TO ENABLE ACHIEVEMENT OF CUSTOMER SERVICE TARGETS.
  5. MANAGEMENT OF THE BUSINESS - ACTIVELY PARTICIPATE IN TACTICAL AND STRATEGIC PLANNING PROCESSES.
  6. MANAGEMENT OF PERSONNEL - ENSURE THAT ALL ASSIGNED PERSONNEL HAVE CLEAR DIRECTION AND UNDERSTANDING OF EXPECTATIONS, TRAINING, AND EDUCATION THAT WILL ENSURE EFFECTIVENESS AND ENSURE COMPLIANCE WITH INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL STANDARDS AND REGULATIONS.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE DESIRED:

  1. 4 year College Degree
  2. 5-10 years manufacturing experience in a supervisory/operations management position.
  3. Knowledgeable in manufacturing processes (rubber processing, core molding or injection molding helpful).
  4. General knowledge in other business disciplines, including budgets, planning, and business strategy.
